Cholsey Pre-School Supports the government’s campaigns with Change 4 life. We are looking at supporting you all with  healthier snack choices.

Children are eating three times more sugar than they should, over half of the sugar is coming from unhealthy snacks and sugary drinks.

Please look out for snack and food ideas with the weekly newsletter or in your child’s red pocket.

Change 4 life is helping families choose healthier snacks. They have created resources for schools and leaflets to take home to help everyone be aware of the concerns with to much unhealthy snacks.

Snack smart!

Too much sugar can lead to harmful fat building up inside and serious health problems, including painful tooth decay.

Fruit and vegetables are always the best choice, but if you’re shopping for packaged snacks for your children, use this helpful tip: look for 100 calorie snacks, two a day max!
